Student Delegate Registration

For the purpose of Neurotrauma registration, the definition of a “Student” is a member/non-member delegate who meets at least one of the following criteria:

  1. An undergraduate, graduate or medical student at an internationally recognized university or college.
  2. A nurse who is practicing in an internationally recognized university affiliated hospital.
  3. A resident who is in training at an accredited or internationally recognized university/hospital training program.
  4. A postdoctoral student who has completed an MD and/or PhD who is currently under the supervision of
    mentor (or advisor) for the purpose of acquiring additional training in the field of neuroscience as it relates to
    neurotrauma.
  5. A postdoctoral fellow who has completed a basic neurosurgery, neurology (or equivalent) residency and who now is gaining additional training in the field of neurotrauma.

Proof of current status will be required in order to qualify for a student registration rate.

One Day Delegate

A one day delegate is any member/non-member single day attendee of the conference. One day delegate registration includes:

  • Delegate Name Badge & Program Materials
  • Access to Scientific Sessions
  • Access to Exhibits
  • Access to Poster Sessions
  • Online Access to Abstract Proceedings
  • Daily Refreshments

Maximum 1 days. Does NOT include Welcome Reception or Gala & Awards Dinner.

Accompanying Guests

A guest is a non-scientist spouse, family member or guest of a registered delegate. A maximum of one (1) guest per registered attendee is allowed. All Guest registrations include:

  • Guest Name Badge
  • Daily Refreshments in the Exhibit Hall
  • Welcome Reception

Accompanying Guest registrations do NOT include access to Scientific Sessions, Poster sessions or the Gala & Awards Dinner.

All tickets are non-refundable after July 6, 2018. Space is limited; tickets may not be available onsite.

Government Attendees

If you require government approval before paying for your registration fee, please click the appropriate button on the payment page, then select “Checkout with ‘Pay Later’ (Credit Card / Bank transfer / Check)” to create an invoice at the current meeting registration rate. You will receive a copy of this invoice including bank account and check payment details via email. After this, you can proceed to submit your disclosure form and your abstract if you have added the abstract fee.

As soon as funds are released from your government organization, you can log back in to pay the pending invoice at any time by credit card. Alternatively you may use the bank transfer / check payment details to pay by bank transfer or check. As soon as we receive your payment, your meeting registration and any submitted abstracts will be activated. Please be aware that this may take several weeks.

Letter of Invitation for Visa

An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a Visa and authorization to attend the NeuroTrauma 2018 Symposium in Toronto, Canada will be issued ONLY after a completed Registration Form and full payment have been received. Please contact our registration department at [email protected] once you are registered and registration fees have been paid if you require a Letter of Invitation. Letters of Invitations will not be issued to parties who are not registered and/or paid in full. Letter of Invitations will not automatically be issued; you must contact our registration department.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations received in writing at the NeuroTrauma 2018 Secretariat’s address by July 6, 2018 will be accepted and all fees refunded, less a USD 150 administrative fee. Cancellations received after July 6, 2018 will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. This change can be made by re-accessing your online registration using the link on your confirmation letter. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Congress. In the unlikely event that NeuroTrauma 2018 is cancelled, travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded.
